COVID-19 Actions – A Message to Our Guests

Update: 3/19/2020

We are Temporarily Closed

Friends and Neighbors, for over a dozen years it has been our honor to serve you.
To the St. Thomas community, Thank you. Mac-Groveland, Thank you.

We have enjoyed being a gathering place for all. Since we can no longer serve you in the manner we would like, we are temporarily closing our doors.

Look for your favorite baristas to welcome you back when we reopen. In the meantime, you may see some of them at a Davanni’s near you!

Stay Healthy, stay Bené.

Update: 3/17/2020

Per Governor Walz’s Executive Order on Monday, 3/16/2020, we have suspended our dine-in business starting today until further notice. Even though our dining rooms are no longer available, we will continue to serve you best we can with the same spirit and dedication we always have. We will continue to serve you with take-out and DoorDash.

At this time, we have made the decision to remain open because our employees depend on us to carry on. However, our employees may stay home if they feel it is a better option for them or their families. We are proud of our staff who are dedicated to providing our customers with the best experience possible even under such unusual circumstances.

In addition to the steps we are already taking to ensure the safety of our customers and employees, all employees will be wearing gloves when passing out food. Also, once we have them available, we will be adding tamper-evident stickers to packaging.

We are a local and family-owned business that takes a great deal of pride in serving the Twin Cities metro area for 45 years. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you. Thank you for choosing Coffee Bene.

To Our Guests –

Like many of you, we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization for updates on coronavirus (COVID-19) and are in direct contact with the Minnesota Department of Health. We are continuing to look at how we can more safely serve our customers and provide our staff with a healthy work environment.

We wanted to share with you some of the steps we are taking to keep everyone in our restaurants safe.

  • We have strong practices in place for cleanliness and handwashing. We are spending extra time sanitizing frequently touched surfaces.
  • We have emphasized that employees who are ill should stay home.
  • You will notice that our counters look bare. We have removed many items that multiple people could touch. Some will be replaced by single-use options, others are available upon request. This includes plates, utensils, and condiments.
  • As the situation evolves we may make more changes. Our goal remains to keep you and our staff healthy.

We are committed to being easy and safe to do business with. We will continue to offer dine-in, take out, and delivery. Most of our shops also offer curbside pickup. All of these ordering options are available both online and over the phone.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you soon.

Sincerely,
